Day 3

We are still on Wisconsin time and are getting up crazy early.  I can't remember the last time I watched the sunrise, wait it was yesterday.  Today we decided to explore Lahaina.  We walked from one end of Front Street to the other.  After all that walking, we enjoyed a lovely lava flow at the Hard Rock Cafe.  They make a fabulous lava flow. Refreshed, we continued on, picking up a few things here and there and ending at Foodland in a search for stamps.  I found gluten-free Bisquick so pizza is on the menu this week.  Keeping fingers crossed it is edible.  Back at the condo we realize it is only 1:00 pm.  We head to the pool where we spend a few hours relaxing and enjoying the tranquil tropical breezes.

 All this relaxing is very tiring.  In an effort to stay awake, we head to Barnes and Noble where I pick up a copy of the gluten-free bible.  Just some light reading when I am sitting on a beach.  It is 5:00 pm and we are both very tired.  A quick dinner and we head to our separate bedrooms.  I am trying to stay awake until 9 pm local time.  I even did some laundry in an effort to stay awake.  I don't know how much longer I can last.  My mom has been sleeping since 7:30 pm.  Tomorrow's forecast is 82 degrees and sunny.  Thinking of making it a beach day.
