First Day in Paradese

It was a long trip - waking up at 4 am (central) and not getting to sleep until 8 pm (midnight central).  The flights were on time and the trip was none eventful.  We have a lovely little grey Nissan car.  Perfect for me and my mommy.  As we drove from the airport to Lahaina we actually saw a whale breaching!  Did learn one thing about the car, the lights don't turn on automatically.  Found the condo.  We have a two bed, two bath condo on the second floor of a two story building.  We have a lanai but it doesn't have furniture.  Not sure what we can use to sit on.  Perhaps a beach towel?  Slept incredibly well except for that damn rooster that keeps crowing.  The sun is now up so shut up!  Didn't have time to stop and pick up any groceries and I am dying for a diet coke.  I am going to dress and walk down the ocean and find me an ABC store.  Did I mention the sun is shining brightly already and the weather is fabulous.  Now if I could just get that damn rooster to shut up.
